Sesame Place

Sesame Place

We enjoyed Mother's Day this year at Sesame Place in Langhorne, our family was #hosted and got to experience Dine with Elmo and Friends as well as Magic Queue bands! This theme park is filled with non-stop fun things to do with your family from rides to shows to character meet and greets and more! Right now you can experience Elmo's Springtacular event happening through June 18th featuring themed weekends and all your favorites.

I highly recommend downloading their app before you visit! It allows you to keep your tickets on hand, gives you the daily schedule of shows and meet & greets, helps navigate you throughout the park, and will highlight where you can eat and shop.

We first hit the rides and headed to Cookie's Monster Land where many of the rides are located. One of the things I love about Sesame Place is that most, if not all the rides you can go on with your kids! There is something for everyone here, you have your classic rides like the carousel and for the more adventurous ones you can hop on one of their two coasters, but there is plenty in between to enjoy as well. Plus at certain times of the year you can experience the water portion of the park too!

If you do not have the app, you can find maps throughout the park that will guide you.

We got to experience Abby's Unlimited Magic Queue bands, I highly recommend these if you are looking to avoid potential lines and make the most of your day. There are designated lines for Magic Queue band holders on every ride and they alternate sessions so that your wait time is minimal if at all. The bands start at $29.99 and vary depending on the day you visit.

Throughout the day we also met lots of characters! You will find them along main street and there are employees stationed at each to help take pics. Simply get in line for the character you want to meet and you'll get up close and personal.

Next we headed on over to Dine with Elmo Friends! You can choose Breakfast, Brunch or Dinner options and watch a show while your family enjoys a variety of foods and character meet and greets as they come around to each table. Coming up on June 3rd & 4th is Dino Stomp Dine which is Dinosaur themed from the outfits to the treats.

I mentioned earlier that there are lots of things to do outside of the rides, there are shows happening throughout the day plus there is a daily parade that happens at 3pm and is a must see! You can also add on special reserved seating for the parade to get the best views! It goes down Main Street and you can see all your faves dancing and singing to the music. It is truly a sight to see! You will also find treats, face painting, shops, and a whole water park in addition to all these things I have shared!
